Job summary

South Shore Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Weymouth, MA. This per diem, part-time role covers day shifts and requires commitment to high-quality patient care, medication administration, and accurate plan-of-care documentation.

You will participate in patient-family centered care, safety initiatives, and professional development while adhering to SSH policies. BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as applicable may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN - Registered Nurse license/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration per SSH policy and documentation.
• Develop, update, and document individualized plan of care; communicate with patient/family.
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards; ensure proper hand hygiene and regulatory compliance.
• Pursue professional development with evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
• Utilize technology (Lotus Notes, department software) to support nursing duties.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and SSH policies.
• Engage with patient and family to support patient-centered care and discharge planning.
