Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) in Rockford, IL. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, trauma care, and coordination with physicians to determine patient disposition. RN licensure and an ADN or higher nursing degree are required; ER experience and ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications, and operate/maintain medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, including discharge or extended stays.
• Educate patients and families about condition and care plan.
