Shift

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience within the past 12 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details

• A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
• Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Population - Primarily Adults. Geriatrics
• Shift & Scheduling: 36 or 48 hour guarantee can be accommodated - please notate upon submission if candidate wants 48 GTD
• Shift & Scheduling: Call Requirements: Needed to cover daily volume and call coverage 24/7
• Unit Details: Number of Beds: 17
• Patient Ratios: 1:6 (40 visits a day)
• Preferred Skills/Experience: travel, similar size experience
• 7 days maximum time off
• 2 references from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
• Proof of identification required for submission
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
