Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care in collaboration with the ED team, evaluating patient needs and optimizing drug therapy. The role operates in a fast-paced Level 2 Trauma Center with stroke center capabilities.

The position requires a PharmD and Texas Pharmacist Registered, with preferred ASHP PGY1 residency and acute care hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Texas Pharmacist Registered required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualized pharmaceutical care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Work with ED physicians at the bedside to evaluate patient needs and comorbidities.
• Provide recommendations for drug therapy and dosing.
• Support fast-paced ED operations as part of a Level 2 Trauma Center and Stroke Center.
