Job summary

UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton, NC is seeking a Paramedic to join our emergency department team. You will provide lifesaving care with your skilled, compassionate approach to serve our community daily.

Requirements include OEMS-approved Paramedic Training, NC Paramedic Certification (NRC preferred), NC EMT-P license, and BLS. ACLS/PALS within 6 months, CPI within 30 days; EMS agency affiliation required for NR Paramedic certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Paramedic Training Program (OEMS approved) required.
• Current North Carolina Paramedic Certification required (National Registry preferred).
• Completion of community paramedicine curriculum within two years of hire preferred.
• Current NC license – EMT-P or NR EMT-P.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• Completion of CPI Course required within 30 days of hire.
• Affiliation with an EMS agency required to maintain National Registry Paramedic certification.
