Syringa Hospital & Clinics in Idaho is seeking an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive, timely emergency care within licensure and hospital policies. The NP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries, collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and other professionals to ensure safe, efficient outcomes.

This role emphasizes rural healthcare delivery and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Current Idaho medical license or eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA certificate without restriction.
• Controlled Substance Certificate from Board of Pharmacy.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and exams in the ED.
• Evaluate and manage acute illnesses and injuries within scope.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on findings.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging as authorized.
• Prescribe medications per state law and hospital policy.
• Assist with life-threatening conditions and resuscitation as needed.
• Coordinate transfers and communicate with receiving facilities.
