Job summary

Aspirus St. Luke's in Duluth, MN is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care, coordinates with the healthcare team, and educates patients and families to improve outcomes in a fast-paced ED setting.

Required MN RN license with ACLS and PALS within 18 months; TNCC and ENPC within 24 months or proof of past completion. Schedule features PM/evening and night rotations, every other weekend, and 0.9 FTE full-time status.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent acute care nursing experience, or one (1) year in St. Luke's Emergency Department within the past five years, or related ICU/CCFP/ED experience.
• Current Minnesota RN license; ACLS and PALS within 18 months; TNCC and ENPC current or completed within 24 months; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate information between patient, family and healthcare team.
• Educate patients' families and staff; evaluate outcomes.
