Job summary

Maimonides Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Instructor – ED Educator to lead the nursing education program within the ED. The role is full time, 7am–5:30pm with some weekend shifts, focusing on developing and evaluating educational initiatives for the Department of Nursing.

Ideal candidates hold an MSN in Nursing Education or a Post‑Masters certificate, with 3–5 years of ED experience and current ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years ED experience.
• MSN in Nursing Education or Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education.
• ACLS, BCLS and PALS certification.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct and evaluate Dept of Nursing educational programs.
• Coordinate orientation, staff development and continuing education.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments on quality improvement and training.
