Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a full-time LPN for the Emergency Department, home to Hampton Roads’ only Level I Trauma Center. Work 36 hours per week, day shift, with every other weekend required and a sign-on bonus up to $8,000.

You’ll join a high-performing team delivering rapid, patient-centered care across trauma, cardiac, stroke and critical care emergencies, supported by a Magnet hospital culture and strong development resources.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Licensed Practical Nursing required.
• LPN license required.
• Prior LPN experience preferred.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and support teams to deliver timely care.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation during 36-hour weekly schedule.
