As a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, this position offers the opportunity to practice in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment caring for a diverse and high-acuity patient population. The pharmacist will provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for patients throughout the Emergency Department, including both ED patients and admitted patients boarding in the ED. Responsibilities include medication review and optimization, prospective order verification, transitions of care, and collaboration with the Emergency Department Medication History Technician team. The pharmacist will work closely with other ED clinical pharmacists and inpatient teams to support safe and effective medication management, with opportunities to cross-cover the ICU service as operational needs arise. This position also offers opportunities to precept pharmacy students and residents and contribute to quality improvement, interdisciplinary initiatives, and the continued growth of clinical pharmacy services within the Emergency Department.

$63.12 - $84.96The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geographyof work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
