Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, CO seeks a healthcare teammate for the Emergency Department. The role provides indirect patient care and follows directions from physicians and nursing staff to support patient flow and safety.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, EMT certification (preferred), BCLS, and TNCC within one year. Opportunity includes professional development and a supportive team environment in a Level III Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent with one year experience in acute Hospital setting or in ambulance.
• Training & Experience: BCLS preferred. Current EMT Certification (preferable). Basic arrhythmia course (preferable).

About The Emergency Department

The Emergency Department at Montrose Regional Health is a Level III Trauma Center staffed 24 hours per day by Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and RNs who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and in Trauma Care.

About The Career

Provides indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Implements directions from physicians and nursing staff.

All About You

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent with one (1) year experience in acute Hospital setting or in ambulance.
• Training & Experience: BCLS preferred. Current EMT Certification (preferable). Basic arrhythmia course (preferable).
• Job Knowledge: Medical terminology TNCC within one year of hire.
