Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor for Emergency and Critical Care in Austin, TX. You will lead the ER/CC team, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality patient care during critical events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience working as a veterinary technician.
• Minimum of two (2) year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ER/CC technical staff and maintain a professional work environment.
• Direct supervision of PCP to ensure duties and communications.
• Provide technical support and participate in case management.
• Interview, hire, train, review and terminate Patient Care Personnel and aides.
• Develop and maintain training programs and SOPs in collaboration with other supervisors.
• Manage PCP work schedules to meet daily, weekly, and holiday needs.
• Delegate daily tasks and ensure even distribution of cleaning duties.
• Coordinate monthly meetings and provide leadership feedback.
