Job summary

Riverside Smithfield Hospital in Smithfield, VA is hiring an RN for the ED/Critical Care/Telemetry unit. Under supervision, you assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, coordinating with the care team to ensure safe transitions. Requires BSN or ADN with RN license in Virginia, CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or compact state
• BSN or ADN with Nursing Diploma acceptable
• Current CPR/BLS; ACLS, PALS, TNCC and ENPC preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop an individualized care plan.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safe transitions.
• Educate patients and families; document per RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Delegate and supervise non-professional staff to ensure quality patient care.
