Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board certification or residency trained in veterinary emergency and critical care.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the emergency/critical care team.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to ensure compassionate care.
• Maintain high-quality emergency and critical care standards hospital-wide.
• Partner with hospital leadership to support team development and growth.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners.
• Build relationships with referring veterinarians.
• Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture of learning.
