Abacus Corporation is seeking a Disaster Support Specialist to prepare for and respond to disasters by supporting mass care planning, providing training and mentorship, strengthening regional partnerships, and serving as a liaison between local and state agencies.

You will work with LDSS, emergency managers, nonprofits, and Red Cross, travel within the assigned Virginia region, and help identify resource gaps while connecting communities with solutions to improve readiness and response.

This role requires frequent regional travel, telework, and participation during emergency activations. Travel Reimbursement.
