Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking an Emergency Center Technician to join our fast-paced Emergency Center team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, with EMT licensure and BLS certification required at the time of hire.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, critical thinking, and multitasking in a 42-bed Level III trauma center operating 24/7. 0.7 FTE night shifts; every other weekend. EMT/EDT experience and regulatory knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of EDT program or EMT program or completed at least first quarter clinicals of an accredited RN or LPN program.
• Currently validated CPR skills, BLS provider status per AHA guidelines required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist in delivering safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Center environment.
