Job summary

ClickHouse seeks a Security Specialist for the EMEA region with location flexibility. You will own security conversations, translate architecture into controls, and drive secure deployment patterns across ClickHouse Cloud and BYOC.

Ideal candidates have deep data-security expertise, credibility with CISOs, and the ability to create artefacts for auditors. This role sits within the EMEA Solutions Architecture team and partners with account teams to win deals.

Qualifications

• Significant customer-facing technical experience at a data platform, analytics, streaming, or database company.
• Depth in cloud and data security: IAM, key management and cryptography, network isolation, secure multi-tenancy, threat modelling, and audit.
• Working knowledge of enterprise data deal frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and EU regulation.
• Credibility with security buyers; ability to speak in front of a CISO.
• Overlay instincts and clear writing; producing artefacts that survive auditor review.

Responsibilities

• Act as the security overlay on EMEA opportunities, discussing deployment models and security questions with customers and sales teams.
• Lead security conversations with CISOs, security architects and GRC teams.
• Design and validate secure ClickHouse Cloud and BYOC deployment patterns with appropriate controls.
• Run threat modelling and architecture reviews with customer security teams.
• Own the security workstream through POC and production readiness.
• Build reusable security answers and playbooks for EMEA and align with account teams.
