Job summary

VIAVI Solutions Inc. in EMEA seeks an energetic Marketing Specialist to lead brand building and integrated campaigns to support the sales team across the region.

You will develop regional plans, ensure brand consistency, manage events, collaborate with regional/global teams, and monitor KPIs to drive leads and revenue while traveling occasionally to Europe. Fluency in German and English is required.

VIAVI is looking for an energetic Marketing Specialist to lead brand building, an integrated marketing strategy and campaigns to promote VIAVI’s Lab and Production Test Solutions in support of VIAVI’s sales team in EMEA.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute regional marketing/comms plans aligned with global goals, focusing on brand growth, demand generation, and sales support in the EMEA region.

Brand Consistency

Ensure regional execution adheres to global brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Event Management

Planning and execution of key customer-facing marketing events.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with regional/global teams, sales, digital, and research departments.

Marketing Reports

Work with corporate marketing to monitor and report on critical marketing KPIs for regional marketing efforts, including lead generation, conversion rates, etc.

Results Delivery

Driving tangible business results (leads, revenue) through integrated campaigns.

Internal Communications

Connecting the global vision with regional market needs. Serving as a key link between corporate HQ and the regional team.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in field marketing experience in telecommunication industry or related industries, with proven agency management and campaign success.
• Language: Fluency in German and English.
• Communication: Excellent written/verbal skills, ability to present effectively.
• Coordination and organization: Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership: Proactive, results-oriented, with strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computing, Telecommunications or related field preferred.
• Preferred Qualification: Demonstrated interest in AI technology, telecommunications, or related industries, with a willingness to learn new products, solutions, and market trends.

Travel

Occasional travel will be required to VIAVI’s site based in Eningen as well as travel through Europe to support events and activities.
