Job summary

Eaton Group is seeking a LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer to install, commission, test, and maintain Eaton LV equipment across multiple sites. The role involves significant travel and collaboration with project teams to ensure safety and reliability of power distribution systems.

You will interpret drawings, develop SAT plans, and lead on-site activities while supporting fellow engineers and customers across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• LV distribution knowledge (switchgear) and practical experience.
• LV testing and commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the EMEA region to deliver commissioning, testing, maintenance, and SAT for LV equipment.
• Act as primary customer contact during site activities and projects.
• Prepare RAMS and arrange high-voltage/high-current testing.
• Develop and execute SAT test plans from drawings and relay settings.
• Perform LV testing and commissioning, including switchgear tests.
• Interpret electrical drawings and challenge omissions when needed.
• Support project delivery with Project Management to meet timelines.
• Lead on-site activities when required and coach other engineers.

We're now looking for a LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer to join our growing team.

This position can be based anywhere in Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Finland or Denmark, extensive travel across EMEA will be required.

What you'll do:

As the LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer you will support our customers with the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Eaton LV equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel within the EMEA region and deliver commissioning, testing maintenance, and SAT services for Eaton LV equipment in line with safety standards
• Act as the primary customer contact during site activities and installation projects
• Prepare RAMS, including arrangements for high-voltage and high-current testing
• Develop and execute SAT test plans based on specifications, drawings, and relay settings
• Perform LV testing and commissioning, including primary plant testing and functional testing of switchgear
• Interpret electrical drawings and challenge omissions where required
• Support project delivery by working closely with Project Management to meet timelines
• Lead on-site activities when required and support/coach other service engineers

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Electrical qualifications with solid theoretical and practical knowledge of LV distribution systems ( switchgear products)
• High competence in LV testing, commissioning, and customer witness testing
• Ability to work independently, lead when needed, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility to travel and stay away across the EMEA region
