Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking an experienced EMEA Events Manager to own regional events across EMEA and APJ, from ObservabilityCON on the Road to third-party sponsorships. You will manage venues, budgets, vendors, and on-site execution while collaborating with marketing, sales, and product teams.

This is an AI-first marketing environment with high standards and fast pace. You will lead end-to-end logistics, track success metrics, and build assets to ensure brand consistency across our.global events.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of direct event management experience, including hosted conferences end to end.
• Experience as primary on-site lead for in-person events and vendor management.
• Ability to travel ~40% including long-haul travel to APJ.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and execute a portfolio of events across EMEA and APJ.
• Lead end-to-end event logistics: venue sourcing, contracting, vendor coordination, booth setup, on-site execution.
• Own event project management with timelines, budgets, contracts, and stakeholder communications.
• Define and track event success metrics; deliver post-event analysis and actionable improvements.
• Create and approve event assets to ensure brand consistency and high-quality execution.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve planning, execution, and reporting.
• Identify risks early and resolve issues on-site with real-time decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and regional teams to align strategy.
• Provide guidance to junior team members, contractors, and agencies.
