Job summary

Tait Communications is seeking an EMEA Accounting Manager to lead accounting, reporting, and compliance for its EMEA entities from a remote setting. This role partners with regional leaders to drive performance and ensure IFRS compliance across multiple countries.

Ideal candidates have ACCA/CIMA, 5+ years in international accounting, SAP experience, and strong Excel skills. Fluency in English and German is required, with French a plus.

Qualifications

• ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years’ experience in an international accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and statutory accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA, SAP R/3, or Fiori.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and broader MS Office skills.
• Fluent English and German language skills; French advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate across countries/time zones.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with leaders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end accounting and financial reporting for all EMEA entities, ensuring IFRS compliance.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasting support, variance reporting, and business partnering to stakeholders.
• Ensure VAT, statutory, regulatory, and local reporting compliance across the EMEA region.
• Manage intercompany accounting, transfer pricing adjustments, and coordination of external audits.
• Coordinate with outsourced providers and internal teams for local GAAP reporting and budget management.
