Colorado Women's Center seeks an EMDR-trained therapist to deliver evidence-based EMDR therapy for trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and related concerns. You will assess, plan, and guide EMDR sessions while also serving clients with other issues.

Expect a robust referral flow and a strong emphasis on ongoing professional development. With a 23–25 client sessions per week target, you’ll set your own hours and grow your caseload quickly in a supportive, woman-focused practice.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Active Colorado license or candidate license: LPC/LPCC, LCSW/LSW/SWC, LMFT/MFTC, or PhD/PsyD/PSYC.
• Completed EMDR basic training (EMDRIA-approved or equivalent).

Location

This position's primary place of work is our Denver office at 1764 Platte St., a historic building on Platte Street between Union Station and Lower Highlands. It's easy to reach on foot, by car, by bike, or by scooter, and it's within walking distance of some of Denver's best restaurants.

The Role

As an EMDR Trained Therapist and Counselor, you'll provide evidence-based EMDR therapy to clients working through trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and related concerns. You'll complete assessments, build EMDR treatment plans, and guide clients through EMDR sessions to process and integrate distressing memories. You'll also see individual clients for other concerns. We look for clinicians with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Overview

With a steady flow of referrals, this position lets you build a full client load quickly, with base pay while you build. You set your own session times. A full-time caseload at Colorado Women's Center is 23–25 client sessions a week, and our referral flow helps clinicians get there quickly.

Our specialties include anxiety, work-life balance, depression, relationships, attachment issues, trauma, self-esteem, body image, social media addiction, couples counseling, and EMDR. Our clients come to us at every stage of life, from teens and young adults to midlife and seniors. Our therapists are trained in a range of modalities, including EMDR, Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy.

Requirements

• A graduate degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• An active Colorado license or candidate license:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Social Worker Candidate (SWC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC)
  • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or Psychologist Candidate (PSYC)
• Completed EMDR basic training (EMDRIA-approved or equivalent)

Compensation

Pay range: $75,920–$121,680 per year. New hires start hourly, with a stipend while you build your caseload and the potential to move to a salaried role. Hourly or salaried, clinicians qualify for benefits once they build a full caseload and become full-time.
