Colorado Women’s Center in Broomfield, CO seeks an EMDR Trained Therapist and Counselor to provide evidence-based EMDR therapy to clients dealing with trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and related concerns. You’ll complete assessments, build EMDR treatment plans, and guide clients through sessions to process distressing memories, while also seeing individual clients for other concerns.

With a steady referral flow, you’ll set your own session times and maintain a full-time caseload; base pay is provided

Qualifikationen

• Graduate degree required in counseling, social work, psychology, or MFT.
• EMDR basic training completed (EMDRIA-approved or equivalent).
• Active Colorado license or candidate license: LPC/LPCC, LCSW/LSW/SWC, LMFT/MFTC, or Psychologist/PSYC with candidate.

Location

This position’s primary place of work is our Broomfield office at 5760 W. 120th Ave., Suite 120. The office suites are clean and modern, with easy access from W. 120th.

The Role

As an EMDR Trained Therapist and Counselor, you’ll provide evidence-based EMDR therapy to clients working through trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and related concerns. You’ll complete assessments, build EMDR treatment plans, and guide clients through EMDR sessions to process and integrate distressing memories. You’ll also see individual clients for other concerns. We look for clinicians with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Overview

With a steady flow of referrals, this position lets you build a full client load quickly, with base pay while you build. You set your own session times. A full-time caseload at Colorado Women’s Center is 23–25 client sessions a week, and our referral flow helps clinicians get there quickly.

Our specialties include anxiety, work-life balance, depression, relationships, attachment issues, trauma, self-esteem, body image, social media addiction, couples counseling, and EMDR. Our clients come to us at every stage of life, from teens and young adults to midlife and seniors. Our therapists are trained in a range of modalities, including EMDR, Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Transpersonal Psychology, Client-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Somatic Therapy.

Requirements

• A graduate degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy
• An active Colorado license or candidate license:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Social Worker Candidate (SWC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC)
  • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) or Psychologist Candidate (PSYC)
• Completed EMDR basic training (EMDRIA-approved or equivalent)

Compensation

Pay range: $75,920–$121,680 per year. New hires start hourly, with a stipend while you build your caseload and the potential to move to a salaried role. Hourly or salaried, clinicians qualify for benefits once they build a full caseload and become full-time.
