Job summary

Caring Therapists is seeking EMDR psychotherapists to join our Florida group practice in Davie. We welcome part-time or full-time clinicians who are licensed in Florida (Ph.D./PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) and have 1+ year post-independence licensure. CAQH on file and willingness to panel with insurers are preferred.

We offer a collaborative clinical environment with steady referrals, in-house billing, intake teams, and group supervision. Evening availability (4pm-8pm) is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Florida with 1+ year post-licensure experience.
• EMDR specialization preferred and paneled with insurance.
• Willing to be paneled with insurance companies; CAQH registration helpful.
• Evenings (4pm-8pm) availability for sessions.
• Private practice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive rapport with patients and build trust.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders with evidence-based care.
• Create individualized treatment plans per patient needs.
• Meet regularly to provide counseling and adjust plans.
• Conduct ongoing progress assessments and document records.
• Involve family when appropriate and coordinate referrals.

Job description

Caring Therapists, a group private practice in Florida, is looking for part-time and/or full-time EMDR psychotherapists to join our thriving group practice in Davie. We are a collaborative group of therapists that work well together with offices in Davie, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Sunrise, Ft Lauderdale and Coral Springs.

Requirements include being fully licensed as a Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida with 1-year post-independent licensure experience, preferably with private practice, experience and registered with CAQH and willingness to be paneled with insurance companies. Postdoctoral Candidates in Psychology, Registered for Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, and Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern encouraged to apply.

Therapists must have a niche(s) (children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc.) with the availability to work evenings (4pm-8pm). We are specifically looking for an EMDR specialist for our Davie office.

Caring Therapists provides a steady stream of referrals as well. The candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and a positive-minded group of clinicians. Our office is well-respected in the community, and we are looking for therapists who are passionate about mental health.

Requirements

• Works with children, ages 4-18 and/or couples
• Willing to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Current State of Florida license as a Ph.D., PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC. We will also accept Registered Interns and Postdoctoral Psychology candidates.
• Willing to work 15 hours per week or more, 30 or more for full time status
• Minimum 1-year post-independent licensure is a plus
• Paneled with insurance is a plus
• Prior private practice experience is a plus

• Clinical Psychologist, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW. Registered Interns and Postdoctoral candidates are also welcome to apply.
• Compensation is between $60-70 for registered interns, $70-120 per hour for Clinical Psychologist, LMHC, LMFT, and LCSW. Compensation is a fee-split commission model based on fees collected for services rendered. Range is dependent on service type, reimbursement rate, licensure and applicable fee split
