Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Associate’s Degree in HVAC&R from an accredited program is required.
• At least four years of related experience; may substitute for education.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CMMS is preferred.
• EPA approved CFC Universal Certification as required by EPA 40 CFR 82 Subpart F.
• Completed course in stand-alone microprocessor and sensor technology for building automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, or repair HVAC/R systems in residences or commercial establishments.
• Adhere to industry standards and site safety/environmental procedures.
• Document work using work orders, CMMS, and related software.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems and controls.
• Support Energy Management and Controls Systems (EMCS) operations.
