Job summary

Zohorecruit in Middlefield, OH is seeking an EMC Project Engineer for permanent/direct hire. You will perform EMC testing in the lab and at client sites, report measurements, and advise on EMC design needs.

The role requires a bachelor’s (or associate) in electronic/electrical engineering, 3+ years of EMC and wireless testing (Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11, Zigbee, Cellular, LoRa). Strong communication, RF familiarity, and drivers license are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or similar field, or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• EMC testing experience with hands-on work, 3+ years, strong wireless testing background across Bluetooth, WiFi (802.11), Zigbee, Cellular, LoRa, etc.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers, plus solid computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform EMC testing in the laboratory and at client premises, and perform other tests as assigned.
• Report on the measurements performed.
• Provide consultant services to clients with EMC testing and design needs.
• Research updates to testing standards and communicate changes to staff.
• Collaborate with senior management for continuous improvement of EMC operations.
