Meta is seeking an AI Research Scientist for the Robotics division within Meta Superintelligence Labs. The role focuses on embodied AI, learning from demonstration, reinforcement learning, and vision-language models to advance intelligent robotic systems.

You will conduct fundamental and applied research, build data-driven paradigms, and publish open science. Candidates should have a PhD in AI/robotics or related fields and experience across multiple robotics paradigms.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Language, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with robotics, embodied AI, human-robot interaction, sim-to-real transfer, learning from demonstration, reinforcement learning, dexterous manipulation, digital agents, vision language models, egocentric perception, and/or Large Language Models.
• Must obtain work authorization in the United States at time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Aufgaben

• Perform fundamental and applied research to push the scientific and technological frontiers of embodied artificial intelligence.
• Invent and improve data-driven paradigms for robotics across modalities (images, video, text, audio, tactile).
• Investigate embodied behaviors from simulated characters to real robots across horizons.
• Develop algorithms using state-of-the-art ML and neural network methods.
• Define, build, and benchmark capabilities for the next generation of AI.
• Drive long-term research goals with clear intermediate milestones.
• Lead, plan, and execute novel research aligned with organizational objectives.
