Job summary

Applied Intuition in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a new‑grad Cybersecurity Engineer to build security into vehicle platforms from the ground up. You’ll join the security team to strengthen our architecture across multiple platforms with mentorship from senior engineers.

You’ll contribute to security assessments, help design secure boot, integrate HSMs, and collaborate with software, hardware, QA and product teams to embed security throughout development.

Qualifications

• Cybersecurity, embedded systems, or related coursework/projects.
• Understanding of cryptographic principles and algorithms.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for embedded development.
• Exposure to security frameworks or compliance standards is a plus.
• Curiosity to grow in secure boot, HSM integration, and BSP work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to security assessments for existing and new products.
• Support secure boot design and implementation for embedded devices.
• Partner with hardware engineers to integrate HSM solutions.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, and product teams to embed security throughout development.
