Job summary

Anysilicon in Indiana is seeking a Vehicle Controls Engineer to develop, calibrate, test, and validate control systems for electric commercial vehicles. You’ll work hands-on on prototype and production vehicles to troubleshoot issues, perform calibration, and support vehicle commissioning.

Responsibilities include integrating control functions, supporting dynamics and powertrain development, and maintaining CAN communications across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, automotive, mechatronics, or controls.
• Experience with control systems, embedded systems, or vehicle development.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and/or Stateflow.
• Understanding of vehicle dynamics and CAN communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain vehicle control software using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow.
• Integrate and calibrate control functions across platforms.
• Support dynamics, drivability, powertrain, thermal, charging, and body control development.
• Apply control principles to improve performance and stability.
• Develop and tune control algorithms, state machines, and fault handling logic.
• Integrate new electrical/components into vehicle control systems.
• Maintain CAN communications and vehicle signals.
