Job summary

ProdataKey is seeking a skilled hardware/firmware engineer to test, validate, and troubleshoot deployed hardware. You will maintain and design custom manufacturing gear and explore third‑party device integrations. The role suits a self‑starter who can wear multiple hats in a small team.

Requirements include 2+ years in hardware/firmware, strong C/C++ experience, and proficiency with Python/Bash scripting. Travel minimal; on‑site in Draper, Utah.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hardware/firmware development.
• Able to rapidly understand a large existing codebase.
• Experience in C/C++ development.
• Python and Bash scripting experience.
• Experience writing test cases and plans.
• Fine soldering of PCB components.
• Familiarity with lab equipment (oscope/logic analyzer/m multimeter).

Responsibilities

• Test, validate, and troubleshoot hardware used or sold by ProdataKey.
• Maintain or design custom equipment for the manufacturing facility.
• Research and evaluate hardware integrations with third‑party devices.
• Wear multiple hats in a small, cross‑functional team.
