Abbott in Sunnyvale seeks a Software Engineer II to perform moderate risk software project activities across development, tools, test, and requirements. You will analyze requirements, develop and maintain detailed design specs, and troubleshoot issues.

The role includes test design, execution, and potentially leading a project in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. Minimum 2 years of experience with embedded software testing; proficiency in C, C++, C#, or Python is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with embedded software testing required; Bluetooth Low Energy experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and update design and interface specifications.
• Participate in implementation, development, enhancements, and modifications to software, scripts, and procedures.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and isolate software problems; propose strategic solutions and future improvements.
• Write and execute test cases, procedures, and reports; contribute to test design and requirements.
• Lead project as a testing lead when required.
