Qualifications

• Engineering student with at least 80 credits toward a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong C/C++ development and debugging skills; embedded development experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States immediately, without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Mentorship from seasoned Software Engineers
• Embedded system programming in Navico Group Products
• Building, testing, and analyzing software
• Bug fixing
• On-water product testing
• Minor modifications to existing HW or new prototype HW bring-up
• Learn CAN bus and N2K communication
• Learn Bluetooth communication
• Learn to develop algorithms in C++
• Learn messaging across a network between devices on a boat
• Understand positioning using vector mathematics
