Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat’s D425 Software Platform Test group seeks experienced software testers to ensure embedded software meets requirements before release. You will organize kick-off meetings, author test plans, and perform verification/validation across shipboard systems.

Qualifications include a BS in CS/CE/EE or Systems Engineering, 0–5 years of experience, and ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance. Preference for active SECRET clearance and DOORS/GitLab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Embedded Software or Systems Engineering.
• 0–5 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Organize and chair test kick-off meetings.
• Author test plans and results.
• Support qualification via verification and validation processes.
• Perform static testing during requirements development.
• Publish test reports and defect analyses.
• Develop test tools/utilities using platform programming languages.
