ComTec Information Systems (IT) in Murrysville, PA 15668 seeks an Embedded Software Test Engineer for a 12-month hybrid role. You will develop embedded software automated testing and/or manual testing for Sleep & Respiratory Care devices.

Responsibilities include working under close supervision on project segments, performing tasks to schedule and requirements, and collaborating across departments to meet goals.

Formación

• Medical device experience is required.
• Experience in requirements analysis, test development, test execution, and defect management.
• Effective communication skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with test automation is a plus but not required.

Role Overview

Motivated, hard-working individual to develop embedded software automated testing and/or manual testing for our Sleep & Respiratory Care sleep and vent solutions.

• Performs tasks to schedule and requirements.
• Provides solutions using standard techniques and can provide alternatives to common problems.
• Works on specific assignments within a technical area, applying standard techniques.
• Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team within the department and across departments to help achieve group, department, and overall project goals.

Requirements

• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the medical device industry is required.
• Technical Experience: Experience in requirements analysis, test development, test execution, and defect management. Limited experience in applying engineering skills is acceptable for this level.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of engineering principles, practices, and the basics of business operations.
• Communication: Displays the ability to communicate effectively.

Preferred Skills

• C# or test automation experience is a bonus, but not required.
