RTX's Raytheon Software Security Sensors and Effectors (S3E) Department in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to real-time missile software design, development, integration and testing. You will develop embedded and application software using C and C++ across multiple computing platforms in an Agile Scrum environment.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field, and experience with C/C++.

Qualifications

• Git for configuration management.
• Python or similar languages.

Responsibilities

Raytheon Software Security Sensors and Effectors (S3E) Department is looking for a Software Engineer in Tucson, AZ. Our mission is to provide world class Security Software to be used in deployed missile systems. Our software teams employ an Agile Scrum process to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers. This position requires the interest and ability to learn real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific System Security implementations.

This position is a full-time onsite role in Tucson AZ.

What You Will Do:

• As a System Security software engineer, you will be involved with application and embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of real-time missile software.

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
• Experience with C / C++

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Active/Existing Secret level U.S Security clearance
• Experience/Knowledge of any of the following:
• Linux/Unix environment
• FPGAs
• Inter-processor communication
• ARM Architecture
• Secure boot concepts
• Cryptographic Algorithms or Concepts

Clearance Information:

This position requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) , an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
