Job summary

Plexus Corp. is offering an internship to perform embedded software engineering design services and related software development support across the product life cycle.

The role includes designing embedded software and system concepts to meet customer needs, and delivering controlled releases using proper configuration management. The internship also requires developing and executing software design verification test plans, and demonstrating proficiency with lab equipment and debugging

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering for the entire duration of internship.
• GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and system concepts that satisfy the customer's requirements.
• Maintain and deliver controlled software releases to customers by utilizing appropriate configuration management tools.
• Develop and execute software design verification test plans per requirements specifications to ensure software meets the requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency using lab equipment and debug techniques.
