Job summary

Rapsys Technologies Pte Ltd. is seeking experienced Embedded Software Engineers to join our North Reading, MA or Sunnyvale, CA teams on a 1-year contract. Candidates must have at least 8 years of hands-on embedded software experience and be eligible for US visa sponsorship (US Citizens/Green Card).

The role supports five-day on-site work in both locations with a rate open on C2C. You will design, develop, and optimize real-time embedded software, collaborate with hardware engineers, and mentor

Qualifications

• 8+ years of embedded software design for real-time systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration with hardware teams.
• Proficient in C and C++ for embedded and system-level applications.
• Experience with multithreading and debugging HW/SW integration.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, PCIe interfaces.

We're Hiring: Embedded Software Engineers!

We are seeking experienced Embedded Software Engineers to join our dynamic team in North Reading, United States. With at least 8 years of hands-on experience, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing embedded systems that power our innovative products.

Position: Embedded Software Engineers

Location: 5 days/week either in North Reading, MA, or Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 1-year contract to start with

Rate – Open on C2C

Visa: US Citizens/ Green Card

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for real-time applications
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware solutions
• Optimize code for performance, reliability, and resource efficiency
• Debug complex system issues using advanced tools and techniques
• Prepare clear technical documentation and reports
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices within the team

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical issues, project status, and risks to peers, managers, and customers.
• Experience implementing Agile software development practices like story planning, bug tracking, release planning, and sprint retrospectives.
• Proficiency in C and C++ software development for embedded and system-level applications.
• Experience debugging complex hardware/software integration issues and multithreaded applications.
• Experience with embedded communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet, PCIe, or similar technologies.
• Availability to work from our North Reading, Massachusetts or Sunnyvale, CA offices five days per week.
