A leading technology company in Massachusetts is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop software for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). Responsibilities include firmware development, designing GNC software, and assisting with flight testing. The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in a related field and over 5 years of experience in embedded software development. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing embedded software, preferably for UAS.
• Experience with Pixhawk and PX4 flight-control stacks.
• Understanding of various data communication protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware and software for embedded components that support small UAS and UAVs.
• Design, implement, validate, and sustain GNC software for autonomous vehicles.
• Assist with flight testing, including system checkout, ground station support, log retrieval and analysis, and debugging.
