Job summary

John Deere Waterloo, Iowa, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for Tractor Software Teams. You will develop embedded software in MATLAB Simulink and C as part of a global team working on innovative drive strategies for agricultural machinery.

You will test in HIL, SIL, and VIL environments, collaborate with system engineers, and focus on tuning vehicle performance to meet efficiency goals, while supporting cross-functional product development.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years developing embedded applications using MATLAB Simulink and C.
Minimum 3 years developing and troubleshooting complex control systems.
Experience controlling engine and transmission systems to meet vehicle performance requirements.
Experience with Real Time Embedded Operating Systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working in a global team.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software in MATLAB Simulink and C as part of a global tractor drive strategy team.
