Job summary

STRYKE is actively seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize embedded systems across hardware platforms. You will work with C, Python and Go, build RESTful APIs to connect devices with cloud services such as AWS and Azure, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, security‑minded environment.

You will contribute to real‑time performance, power efficiency, and system reliability while aligning with IT infrastructure standards and Agile processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing embedded software in C or Python; familiarity with x86/x64 assembly.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, MySQL and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure; RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for various hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define system requirements and translate to code.
• Implement and maintain APIs and RESTful services for device and cloud communication.
• Optimize software for performance, power, and security in real‑time environments.
• Integrate hardware with software, ensuring IT infrastructure compatibility.
• Use GitHub, SVN or similar for version control and collaboration.
• Participate in Agile sprints, planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Conduct testing and debugging on Linux and other environments to ensure robustness.
• Document specifications, system diagrams, and user manuals.
