Cintal, Inc. is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop and maintain Linux-based applications for ECUs and telematics. You will work on data collection software, perform integration, testing, and troubleshooting, and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality software deliveries.

The role emphasizes ROS2, HIL testing, Git, and Azure DevOps, with a focus on embedded systems, CI/CD practices, and robust validation across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong experience with Embedded Linux and C++ programming.
• Experience with embedded systems, ECU development, and software testing.
• Knowledge of ROS2, HIL testing, Git, and Azure DevOps preferred.
• Experience with software integration, debugging, and validation activities.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong proficiency in Embedded Linux and C++ development.
• Experience with embedded systems and ECU software development .
• Knowledge of ROS2 , software integration, and debugging.
• Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing and validation.
• Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps .
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and CI/CD practices.
