Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to software design, implementation, testing, and debugging while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient embedded solutions.## ## Key Responsibilities* Assist in developing, testing, and debugging embedded software and firmware for hardware-based systems.* Support the integration of software and hardware components to ensure system functionality and performance.* Contribute to the development of automation tools, test frameworks, and software utilities.* Participate in system validation, data collection, and performance analysis activities.* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.* Document software designs, test results, and technical findings.## ## Must Have Skills* Basic knowledge of embedded systems, software development, and computer engineering principles.* Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar languages.* Understanding of software debugging, testing, and problem-solving techniques.* Knowledge of version control tools such as Git or similar platforms.* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.* Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and development methodologies.## ## Preferred Education and Experience* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.* Familiarity with embedded operating systems, real-time systems (RTOS), or embedded Linux environments.* Exposure to software build systems, scripting, or automation tools.* Experience with engineering projects, coursework, or research involving embedded software, firmware, hardware-software integration, or system validation.* Knowledge of digital signal processing, communication protocols, or embedded hardware concepts is a plus.*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
