Job summary

Ultra Maritime in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to lead and support both new development and legacy products for naval applications. You will provide embedded software development support for current audio products, define requirements, design software, write code, test, and document all efforts.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering/computer science and 3+ years in software/embedded development, with the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of software and embedded development experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and work on defense programs.
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills and self-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded software development support for audio products.
• Support new development and maintenance of legacy code.
• Define requirements, design software, write code, test, and document efforts.
• Collaborate with Program Management, project teams, and customer representatives.
• Participate in bi-weekly software meetings and occasional off-site facility testing.
