Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment. You will work across cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software interfaces and components on Windows, Linux, and RTOS platforms.

Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related field or completed within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Apply CS, engineering and mathematical analysis to develop software for target applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and system performance.
Support all phases of SDLC for embedded realtime software in advanced tactical radio equipment.
Develop software test procedures, programs and related documentation.
Use modeling tools to establish operating data, conduct tests and evaluate results.
Participate in peer reviews, identify and repair defects.
Utilize multiple languages (C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, Qt) on Windows, Linux, mobile, and RTOS platforms.
