Actalent is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software for embedded systems in Greenville, SC. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with hardware engineers and QA to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities include writing C and Python code, performing unit and integration testing, creating technical documentation, and supporting CI/CD pipelines. On-site with a 9/80 schedule and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded software development and testing.
• Proficient in C and Python.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, traceability, and verification.
• Familiar with embedded hardware, microcontrollers, and RTOS concepts.
• Ability to design automated test environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform full lifecycle development for embedded systems including testing.
• Translate customer requirements into specifications and designs.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for software-hardware integration.
• Develop and execute test plans, debug, and ensure conformance to specs.
• Review design, code, and maintain development documentation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and release.
