Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Sterling Heights, MI to develop software for advanced vehicle electronic and embedded mission systems for military ground combat platforms.

This role requires expertise in embedded software engineering, BSP development, Linux and VxWorks, RTOS, DSP software, hardware/software integration, and vehicle network architectures supporting next-generation armored combat vehicle technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5-7+ years of embedded/software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, and at least one higher-level language (C#, Java, Python).
• Experience with Linux, VxWorks, RTOS, BSP development and device drivers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software and firmware for vehicle electronic systems.
• Support OS/BSP development across Linux, VxWorks, and RTOS environments.
• Perform software requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing.
• Develop and maintain software documentation, test artifacts, and release packages.
• Conduct hardware/software integration and debugging across multiple test phases.
• Develop DSP-related software and algorithms; build and configure toolchains.
