Job summary
Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and ship mission-critical software for autonomous trucks. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to implement low-level device interfaces, debug in-vehicle systems, and ensure safe operation of large robots.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of software development experience in automotive/aerospace or related industry
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hardware EE on high-reliability hardware system design and testing
- Collaborate with software engineering on architecture, optimizations and reviews
- Contribute to hardware specifications for test coverage and fault detection
- Participate in hands-on hardware bring-up in the engineering lab using analyzers and probes
- Debug driver interfaces, braking and steering functions on the vehicle
- Develop embedded software for platforms (x86, ARM) in C/C++
- Develop software for sensors (Camera, Radar, Lidar, IMU) and for network devices
- Work with time synchronization and high-speed data buses as applicable to vehicle systems
