Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop and integrate core gasoline ECM/PCM software for Infineon AURIX TC3xx. You’ll cover AUTOSAR BSW foundation, MCU safety mechanisms, and ECU bring-up, while triaging issues through rigorous analysis.

Responsibilities include configuring multi-core AUTOSAR OS, implementing startup/shutdown sequencing, and developing CDDs for engine sensing and actuation.

Qualifications

• Strong Embedded C with MCU-level debugging.
• Hands-on AUTOSAR BSW integration and CDD development.
• Infineon AURIX TC3xx (TC38x) experience — startup, memory map, interrupt architecture.
• Knowledge of MCU safety concepts — SMU, MPU, watchdogs, multi-core OS.
• ECM/PCM gasoline engine control software experience with cam/crank sensing and spark/injector actuation.
• Proficiency in Trace32 and INCA; structured defect triaging and RCA discipline.
• GTM timing expertise and DSP concepts for knock detection.
• EB Tresos MCAL configuration; ECU board bring-up on new hardware samples.
• ISO 26262 (ASIL-B/D) exposure, MISRA-C, static analysis, Git/Jenkins CI.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and configure core AUTOSAR BSW — OS, RTE, EcuM, BswM, MemStack, Diagnostics, IoHwAb, Watchdog stack.
• Implement ECU startup/shutdown sequencing, mode transitions, wake-up/sleep handling, and NVM design with crash-safe writes and data recovery.
• Configure multi-core AUTOSAR OS — tasks, alarms, ISRs, spinlocks, inter-core communication, and CPU load/timing optimization.
• Configure and validate MCU safety mechanisms — SMU alarms and fault reactions, MPU-based memory partitioning, watchdog supervision, safe-state handling.
• Develop Complex Device Drivers (CDD) for engine sensing and actuation — crank/cam position, engine speed and direction, spark and injector control, knock windows, misfire detection, MAP sensing.
• Implement timing-critical logic using GTM (TIM, TOM, ATOM, DPLL/angle clock).
• Perform ECU board bring-up — clock/PLL, startup code, linker/memory map, peripheral init, first power-on debug.
• Own issue triaging — reproduce, classify severity, conduct root cause analysis, drive fixes to closure in defect tracking tools.

Role Summary

Develop and integrate core embedded software for gasoline ECM/PCM on Infineon AURIX TC3xx — covering AUTOSAR BSW foundation, MCU safety mechanisms, CDD/GTM engine timing, ECU bring-up, and issue triaging through integration and validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and configure core AUTOSAR BSW — OS, RTE, EcuM, BswM, MemStack (NvM/Fee), Diagnostics (Dcm/Dem), IoHwAb, Watchdog stack.
• Implement ECU startup/shutdown sequencing, mode transitions, wake-up/sleep handling, and NVM block design with crash-safe writes and data recovery.
• Configure multi-core AUTOSAR OS — tasks, alarms, ISRs, spinlocks, IOC inter-core communication, and CPU load/timing optimization.
• Configure and validate MCU safety mechanisms — SMU alarms and fault reactions, MPU-based memory partitioning/FFI, windowed and watchdog supervision (alive, deadline, program flow) with safe-state handling.
• Develop Complex Device Drivers (CDD) for engine sensing and actuation — crank/cam position, engine speed and direction, spark and injector control, knock windows, misfire detection, MAP sensing.
• Implement timing-critical logic using GTM (TIM, TOM, ATOM, DPLL/angle clock).
• Perform ECU board bring-up — clock/PLL setup, startup code, linker and memory map, peripheral init, and first power-on debug.
• Own issue triaging — reproduce and isolate defects, classify severity/priority, perform root cause analysis on traps, unexpected resets, stack overflows and timing overruns; drive fixes to closure in the defect tracking tool (JIRA/ALM/ClearQuest) with clear analysis reports.
• Debug and validate using Lauterbach Trace32 and ETAS INCA; support calibration, system, hardware and safety teams during integration.
