Job summary

The AES Group, Mossville, IL, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded software for safety-detect machine applications. You will work on C++ features running on Linux and collaborate with global teams in an Agile/Sprint environment.

Responsibilities include requirements decomposition, design, development, integration, validation planning, and triage of issues, with strong emphasis on documentation and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

6 7 years of relevant industry experience; Master’s degree accepted with 5+ years.
Strong C/C++ programming and software design/analysis.
Experience with embedded systems, Linux, CAN, Ethernet/datalinks.
Experience with system-level feature design and specifications.
Strong troubleshooting and concise technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software features using C++ / Linux.
Perform requirements decomposition, software design, development, integration, and testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues through triage and debugging.
Develop validation plans and participate in design/code reviews.
Collaborate with global systems, software, machine, and validation teams in an Agile/Sprint environment.
