Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop next-generation Physical AI platforms based on Adaptive SoCs and Ryzen AI Embedded processors. You will work at the intersection of embedded software, computer vision, graphics, and edge AI to enable robotics, industrial automation, and intelligent machines worldwide.

You will collaborate with architecture, silicon, AI, and product teams to create reference platforms, proof-of-concepts, and real-world deployments, while driving

Qualifications

• Embedded software development with C/C++ for Linux-based platforms.
• Experience with embedded Linux, Yocto, BSPs, drivers, RTOS or bare-metal.
• Experience with computer vision/vision pipelines (MIPI CSI, ISP tuning, V4L2, OpenCV).
• Experience deploying edge AI models with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded C/C++ software and Linux platform support for Physical AI platforms.
• Build and optimize computer vision pipelines including sensor drivers and ISP tuning.
• Develop graphics and display software and GPU-accelerated rendering for edge applications.
• Deploy and optimize edge AI inference models across heterogeneous compute resources.
• Lead platform bring-up, hardware/software integration, and driver development.
• Collaborate with AMD teams to influence future platform capabilities.
